What does this feature do?

  • This feature helps Admins to restrict the list of projects shown to an employee while creating an expense or requesting an advance/trip.

  • This helps Admins maintain abstraction about the different projects in the company, displaying only those relevant to that particular employee.

  • This also eliminates the possibility of employees selecting wrong projects (ones that they don't even belong to) while creating expenses, advance and trip requests.

  • Admins get to decide what projects are assigned to which users.

How to use:

  • Go to Organization SettingsOrganizationProjects

  • Enable Enable selective assignment of projects to employees

  • Under the Expense Details section, for the Allowed projects field, you can search and assign only the project(s) to which that employee belongs to.
