Some organizations provide employees with Corporate Credit Cards for claiming expenses. As an employee, you will be required to submit supporting expense details and provide the reason of spend. In this article, we will talk about all the options available to you and give an overview of when to use them.

Navigate to the Cards tab, here you can see two sections:

Unclassified Transactions

This section contains details of all transactions that need to classified by Fylers to let your finance team know where transactions need to be accounted for.

You can start classifying transactions by clicking on the Classify Transaction button against any transaction under the Unclassified Transactions tab.

A pop-up menu will appear with the following options:

  • Create an Expense: this allows you to create an expense against an unclassified CCC transaction.

  • Classify as Personal: if the transaction has not been issued by the organization then it can be marked as a personal expense.

  • Select a Matching Expenses: this option will appear only if the application finds a matching expense created by your earlier, matching the transaction

Classified Transactions

Depending on the type of classification chosen, the transaction will move to the Classified Transactions tab. Under the Matched Expense tab, you will be able to view how you have classified your transaction.

Click on the transaction to be able to view details of classification associated with each transaction i.e.

  • Matched expense details in case of transaction matched with expenses

  • Transaction details in case of transactions classified as personal

Note: Refunds/Credits will be available on Fyle the same way as Debits and these can also be reported to your organization following the same workflow as detailed above.
