Welcome to Sage Expense Management's quarterly feature blog! As we reflect on the past quarter, we're excited to share the latest product developments and innovations with you. This quarter has been bustling with activity, with numerous releases to enhance your experience!

Managing Your Budgets Made Easy

You can now view all budgets created in your organization and track their utilization directly on your Spend Overview page. This visibility also allows you to click on budgets and see associated expenses, enabling better budget management!

Add Nicknames for your Corporate Cards

To eliminate the confusion of identifying cards by their numbers, Sage Expense Management now allows you to give unique nicknames to all corporate cards within your organization.  This feature is quite useful especially if your organization has many cards with similar last digits. By using nicknames, your employees can easily distinguish and identify the correct corporate card and its associated expenses.

Upgrades to Text Messaging Experience

Auto-Filling Cost Centre within Text Messages

If your employees use text messages as a channel for expense submission, we have good news! Our AI now auto-fills the cost centre for every expense submitted through text messages. Previously, employees had to manually input cost centre values, which were often long and hard to remember. This led to many users skipping expenses or abandoning the process altogether With this new feature, users no longer need to remember their cost centres; Our AI will handle it, making expense reporting via text faster and more efficient.

Integrations

Sage 300 CRE BETA Launch!

Sage Expense Management's much-awaited direct integration with Sage 300 CRE is live. This integration features a two-way sync, enabling easy import and export of expense fields.

Automatically export reimbursable and credit card expenses to your Sage 300 CRE as Accounts Payable Invoices. You can even control how and when expenses are exported based on your preference, giving you complete flexibility.

You can also import and map Expense Accounts as Categories, Vendors as Merchants, Jobs as Projects, Cost Codes, Cost Categories and Commitment from Sage 300 CRE to Sage Expense Management. Moreover, you can even restrict specific projects or categories to employees based on what’s relevant to them! Reach out to support@fylehq.com to learn more and sign up for beta!

New Updates in TravelPerk Integration

We are excited to reveal the latest improvements in the Sage Expense Management-TravelPerk Integration, driven by valuable customer inputs and collaborative efforts with the TravelPerk team. You now have the flexibility to select on whose behalf expenses should be created, allowing customization for each payment profile.

Additionally, you can now choose between creating a single expense or multiple expenses per invoice, providing greater control over expense granularity. You will also be able to assign General Ledger accounts to different invoice types, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

We've also streamlined credit card reconciliation by automating the matching of TravelPerk expenses with corresponding transactions in the platformwhen the card is added within.

Netsuite Integration v2.0!

The new Sage Expense Management-Netsuite Integration v2.0 features a simpler account setup flow by categorizing the steps into Export, Import, and Advanced Settings, enhancing the experience by reducing complexity. Accessible directly from the Admin Settings page, you can now export expenses to Netsuite with a single click from the Dashboard. Moreover, resolving errors is now more intuitive, as you can address issues directly from the dashboard, leading to time efficiency!

Default Tax Group for Netsuite Integration

As an admin of an organization with a non-USD currency, you can now specify a default tax group for expenses. Now, if the tax code field is marked as mandatory, then for expenses without a tax group being present,  the platform will automatically apply the default tax group and export those expenses successfully, resulting in fewer export errors.
